FAQ Sensors Levelling


1. Introduction

  • This procedure describes how to level a GeoSIG sensor.
2. Required Tools
  • Spirit level
  • Single bolt mounted on installation surface
  • Sensor
3. Put Sensor on Bolt
  • Use the mounting slot in the bottom of the sensor housing to slide the sensor onto the installation bolt
  • The red marking indicates the final position of the bolt
3. Levelling of Sensor
  • Put the spirit level on top of the sensor housing
  • Use the 3 levelling screws to adjust the sensor level


          
  • A torque value of 1Nm (finger-tight) is appropriate. Over-tightening the levelling mechanism may damage the sensor housing!
          
  • Adjust the levelling with the spirit level in X-direction.
