ECGS & ESC/EAEE Joint Workshop: Earthquake and Induced Multi-Risk Early Warning and Rapid Response Luxembourg, 18th-20th November 2015

GeoSIG has attended the workshop as an exhibitor and demonstrated our latest GMSplus series with EEW functionality

The GMSplus is the ground breaking latest generation of the GeoSIG Measuring Systems with highest performance, excellent operational flexibility and enhanced connectivity. The unit is based on the GMS technology of NetQuakes Seismographs, which are developed in close coordination with USGS, and deployed in high quantities in North America establishing the NetQuakes network.
Recently, in coordination with Japanese and Korean institutions, as well as by consulting to various experts on EEW, GeoSIG has developed a series of optional functions to be run on the GMSplus series, which empowers the instrument to evaluate the realtime sensor signals against currently available EEW algorithms on the fly and issue near-realtime notifications locally as well as to remote users, while at the same time communicating associated data / event parameters to a data center.
