GeoSIG announces structural monitoring consultancy alliance

GeoSIG has announced an alliance with Dr. Farzad Naeim, who will offer expert advice and consultancy in projects that require such expertise. Dr. Naeim is an internationally renowned expert in this field, having over 35 years' experience; he has published in excess of a hundred journal papers and developed several tens of different software systems for earthquake engineering design and education. Some of the software systems he has developed featured new generation of performance-based seismic design as well as real-time performance evaluation and damage detection for civil engineering structures.
 
Dr. Naeim is the founder and President of Farzad Naeim, Inc., which offers consultancy, training and management, and is located in Irvine, California. He has licenses in structural engineering and professional civil engineering; he is a member of the California Bar, and he is a patent attorney. Dr. Naeim is an advisor to several national and state organizations and major universities.
