SMS (Seismic Monitoring System) / SAS (Seismic Alarm System)
The SMS / SAS is a strong motion multi-channel digital recorder / seismic switch system. Detection / Recording Units (DRU's) consisting of individual sensors or complete seismic stations are placed in remote locations and are connected to the Central Processing Unit (CPU) through shielded or fibre optic cables. CPU monitors continuously the DRU's, detects seismic events, generates associated alarms and automatically processes the recorded data. Also it performs periodical tests on the system and monitors the system-wide state of the health as well as analyses the detailed cause of any malfunction. The result of the data processing is provided in a report a few minutes after the occurrence of an event. |

CR-4 PC Based Structural Monitoring System
This multichannel PC based central recording system provides
engineers a tool to fully analyze and understand the dynamics
affecting a including acceleration, velocity, displacement,
temperature, current, wind speed and direction, stress and
pressure may be monitored and recorded. SEISLOG software running
under Windows 95/98 and NT provides near real-time display
of the dynamic channels, static data like mean, max, min,
and peak values. The CR-4 monitors the real-time data generated
by each of the sensors and compares the measured data to alarm
trigger criteria. The ring buffer size, post event time, trigger
thresholds and relay alarm on/off times may be selected by
the customer.

AS-1x Seismic Switch
The AS-1x provides a complete earthquake monitoring system
including accelerometer sensor, digital threshold detection
circuitry for two independent switch levels, output relays,
and backup battery powered AC charger. The AS-1x is housed
in a rugged, industrial rated enclosure with internal terminal
block connections for AC power and seismic switch relay contacts.
The AS-1x is suited for accurate monitoring of earthquake
shaking with relay contact closure at two different acceleration
levels for warning and/or alarm functions. Factory "Pre-set"
Alarm Low/High set-points include 0.15 g / 0.30 g or may be
set by the user from a 0.002g to 2.0g range using GeoDAS software
provided.
