IA-1 Internet
Accelerograph
The Internet Accelerograph opens a new era in the urban seismic
research and engineering, which requires a high spatial density
of seismic instruments. An instrument offered to the market
in close co-operation with Pacific GeoScience Centre of the
Geological
Survey of Canada, the state of the art, all- in-one Internet
Accelerograph. Encompassing a three component acceleration
sensor, it is self-contained and equipped with an uninterruptable
power-supply, which provides for more than six hours emergency
operation without external power. The instrument and communication
design takes advantage of the existing Internet infrastructure
for timing, station management, data retrieval and event-reporting.
Operating costs become significantly lower than conventional
strong-motion seismograph networks.

GeoSIG GSR-24 Seismic Recorder / GSD-24 Seismic Digitizer
The new state of the art GSR-24 Seismic Recorder has a three
component 24 Bit high resolution digitizer capable of recording
velocity and acceleration signals over 133 dB dynamic range.
This high performance allows the acquisition of micro seismic,
broad band and strong motion signals in a single field unit.
Combined with the Radio Telemetry Interface and the acquisition
facilities a complete cost effective solution for seismic
profiling, after shock studies, noise measurements and single
station micro seismic networks is offered. Digitized data
stream output may be connected to a radio transmitter enabling
continuous data transmission back to base and triggered recording
into a up to 64 Mb ATA PC compatible flash memory.

GeoSIG GSR-16 / GSR-12 Strong Motion Recorder
The GSR series are data acquisition systems representing the
state of the art technology in earthquake monitoring. As with
all the recorders, a variety of trigger conditions can be
selected to start data capture onto internal solid state memory
or removable PC memory. Data is transferred to the central
station using a PC/RS-232 port or a modem.

GBV-x16 Seismic Recorder / GBD-x16 Seismic Digitiser
System
The GBV-316 is a triaxial and the 116 is a uniaxial seismic
recorder based on the three or single channel seismic signal
digitisers GBD-x16. They combine the experience and expertise
of GeoSIG together with Bergen University to offer a complete
instrument with improved cost performance ratio beyond any
other comparable product in the market. The GBV and GBD are
well suited for all typical microseismicity studies, which
require high quality digitising performance. Especially in
applications where the ancient analogue drum recorders must
be replaced by digital recorders the GBD/GBV system is the
future oriented choice. The recorders allow the use of internal
or external velocity sensors together with 8 MB of data storage.
They are fully compatible with SEISLOG and SEISAN software
packages. Noise free, 16 Bit data can be transmitted whilst
recording via modem or RS-232 interfaces. GPS for full time
accuracy is optionally available.

GeoSIG GCR-16 Vibration Recorder
The GCR series is a Universal Civil Engineering Recorder utilizing
the latest modern processor technology to carry out vibration
measurements in accordance with DIN4150 part 1 and 2 as well
as the Swiss Norm SN64031a. The recorders may be configured
with a wide selection of sensors suitable for a range of application.
With different configurations of recording parameters it is
possible to use the 16 Bit GCR-16 as either a blasting surveillance
recorder or as a permanent data recorder for ramming works,
mining, tunnel, bridge or traffic surveillance. Data transfer
to a PC is also possible via a modem.

CR-4 PC Based Structural Monitoring System
This multichannel PC based central recording system provides
engineers a tool to fully analyze and understand the dynamics
affecting a including acceleration, velocity, displacement,
temperature, current, wind speed and direction, stress and
pressure may be monitored and recorded. SEISLOG software running
under Windows 95/98 and NT provides near real-time display
of the dynamic channels, static data like mean, max, min,
and peak values. The CR-4 monitors the real-time data generated
by each of the sensors and compares the measured data to alarm
trigger criteria. The ring buffer size, post event time, trigger
thresholds and relay alarm on/off times may be selected by
the customer.
